About the Event

We will enjoy a ceremonial grade sacred plant medicine from the cacao plant "raw dark chocolate" as a ceremonial drink and or handcrafted candies (it works with the Heart Chakra) and we will be incorporating drumming and dance (or movement) and releasing and set intentions . We will have strawberries and other fruit to nibble on . This ceremony is to help us release what no longer serves our higher good and helps us to intend onto ourselves what we wish to bring in to serve our highest good.

Cacao ceremonies are approximately 5,000 years old and have been uses in communities all over the world, to serve as a tool for connecting to the energetic space of the heart. A cacao ceremony will often include working with the heart chakra,  which allows the cacao to activate within the heart and body, and create transformation.

Drumming is an ancient approach that uses rhythm to promote healing and self-expression.  Recent research indicates that drumming may accelerates physical healing, boosts the immune system, produces feelings of well-being, and helps release emotional trauma.

Dance allows for freedom of self expression through controlled movement to a multi dimension of music. ... Through dance, we experience freedom of emotion. Now imagine yourself free to express through your body, all emotions. Confidence in your movement inspires confidence in speech and overall human behavior.

People are encouraged to bring a drum , rattle, tambourine or other instrument but it is not necessary. Mystic Bayou will have some instruments available for use. Unfortunately, we sadly have to ask for a driver's license or keys to be a deposit for the intruments that are being used because some of our instruments  have walked off. )c:

Please also bring something to sit on such as a folding chair or blanket and anything that you may wish to drink such as water etc.  you can also bring marshmellow for the fire and a stick for roasting them if you wish , for after the ceremony. Please no alcohol and no glass containers.

No refunds will be availbe two days prior to the event
